As part of the FICO Group, the company carries forward a legacy that dates back to 1952, when it was originally established as Faizi Industries. Over the decades, FICO has evolved into a trusted name in Pakistan’s electrical manufacturing industry, known for its consistent quality, technical expertise, and reliable performance.

FICO Electric was later established as an independent unit to specialize in the manufacturing of medium voltage instrument transformers, focusing on products ranging from 3.3kV to 33kV.

With more than seven decades of experience, FICO has played a pioneering role in the development of electrical equipment manufacturing in Pakistan.

In 1985, FICO achieved a major milestone by becoming one of the first companies in Pakistan to manufacture Low Voltage and 11kV Medium Voltage Current Transformers. This achievement marked the beginning of a new era of local manufacturing capability in the country.

In order to maintain quality assurance according to the International Standards, the company has hired the services of qualified Engineers, Technical Staff and Skilled Workers.

Plant and Machinery:

Company has installed modern and sophisticated machines, equipment and instruments to meet all parameters of Electrical and Mechanical areas according to International Standards. In addition to the above Company have in-house facilities of Casting, Electroplating, Coil Winding Machines, Sophisticated Mixers and Pouring Equipment, Core Making and Steel Core Winding at its own works.

FICO has also installed the first of its kind completely computerized Partial Discharge Measurement system (PD System) with Faraday cage arrangement, which is major requirement for the smooth working of this costly Equipment.
